Luxury on the tracks as this brand new Japanese train is designed to give you the ultimate luxury travel experience. But it doesn’t come cheap, prices start at around £2,200 and they’re already sold out until March 2018!
Designed by Ken Kiyoyuki Okuyama the train is supposedly made from only the best materials and is heavily linked to traditional Japanese craftsmanship. The futuristic observation decks mean that no matter where you sit you’re always going to get the most incredible view. There are sleeping quarters if you want to catch up on some well deserved sleep and an on-board resturant with food cooked by a Michelin star chef.
Exclusivity is key with the Shiki-Shima with room for only 34 passengers and marketed as a high end hotel on the rails. The train oozes futuristic beauty and I’m free anytime you’d like me review the experience. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.
