British Airways have announced plans which will include upgrades to premium cabins, new lounges and a self check-in service. New WI-FI services will also be introduced on short and long haul flights over the next two years.

The premium cabin investment will offer enhanced dining experiences and a good night’s sleep with specially designed pillows and soft duvets being introduced in July.
I do like the idea of automatic boarding gates, that would save a lot of time when boarding your flight but the premium upgrades don’t seem great in addition to lounges that still look a bit old and outdated. They need to take a look at Virgin’s first class lounge, they might learn something.
