It’s that time of year again when I gear up to go travelling and for years now I’ve had nothing but a see-through airport travel bag for all of my toiletries and in the year 2026, that changes, for good!
I took the plunge and invested in a Louis Vuitton Toiletry Pouch PM (PM stands for Petit Modèle (Small Model) and GM stands for Grand Modèle which is the larger size).
It’s a sleek an stylish little pouch in Monogram Eclipse canvas which I thought was more clean and subtle than the usual slap-you-in-the-face monogram canvas which I feel leans more heavily feminine compared to Damier Graphite / Eclipse varieties.
With the outside of the pouch being a nice canvas the inside of the pouch is more of a smooth wipeable material which bodes well for a toiletry bag where creams / liquids could easily leak inside so it’s a handy material to wipe down without any issues.
For its compact size it can certainly pack quite a lot of stuff in and with a very sturdy zip it feels wonderfully crafted.
Is it worth the £500+ price tag? Absolutely not, but as always with these things you are paying for the name and not so much the quality or craftsmanship of the product anymore.
A little controversial of me to say but I feel that LV products especially have taken a dip in quality over the years with the prices going the opposite way. It’s certainly not gone unnoticed as a frequent resident inside a Louis Vuitton shop but I’m still happy to support the brand that I love even if I do feel that the craftsman need a good kick up the bum to get back to the standards of old.
This toiletry bag came in the usual classy Louis Vuitton box (I still prefer the old chocolate brown packaging myself), dust bag and all of the other leaflets and cards.
A Louis Vuitton unboxing experience is pretty special and I love the magnetic clasps inside the box lids so they close with a grace and elegance and are sturdy and easy to transport.
With two little internal compartments you might be lacking if you’re a heavy packer but I’m a very light packer so this small and compact size suits me down to the ground.
If you’re someone who values both fashion and functionality, the Louis Vuitton Toiletry Pouch PM is a great option.
It’s a compact yet stylish way to keep your essentials organised while traveling.
The quality is nice and it’ll certainly last you a long time if you take care of it and the timeless design keeps it relevant for years.
It’s an investment piece at the end of the day so it’s entirely up to you as the customer to weigh up how it’ll fit into your lifestyle.
For me, it’s perfect. Absolutely no regrets.
