Miami Beach was an unnamed barrier island that was almost impossible to get to until one entrepreneur begin it’s transformation. That man was Carl G. Fisher and he took this land and turned it into something incredible.

He financed the dredging of Biscayne Bay to create the residential islands between Miami and Miami Beach, including the Venetian Islands and Star Island. Exclusive Fisher Island, which Fisher once owned, is named after him.

Carl Fishers private residence is now up for sale priced at a cool $65 million and it sums up the luxury, the class and the beauty of Miami Beach. 40 rooms, 10 bedrooms, 12 baths, 3000-bottle wine cellar, three offices, the list goes on and on.

Normally I’d only throw up one or two pictures for a particular listing but this one is something else entirely. Just take a look.
